Bacon, Citrus and Herb Turkey

There are a variety of ways to prepare your turkey’s. For those of you that are looking for a delicious and healthy option to prepare your turkey, look no further!

Ingredients:

Whole Turkey (we usually have 20lb. for the holidays)

1 pack applewood bacon

Bundle of fresh herbs (thyme, oregano, parsley)

1 whole orange

1 clove chopped garlic

Pink Himalayan salt/pepper

½ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Meatergram thermometer

Pre heat oven to 350 degrees and we use the meatergram to keep

track of temperature but we take it out when the internal heat

reaches 165 degrees. Clean out the inside of the turkey, rub the

olive oil, garlic and herbs on the turkey and under the skin. Then

place bacon strips over the top of the turkey and ready to go in the

oven. Depends on your oven on how long you cook the turkey for.

Once cooked cut up turkey and slice the orange to place on top.
