This is hands down one of our favorite ways to make this delicious vegetable, not to mention easy and filling.
Ingredients:
1 bundle Rainbow Swiss chard
1 clove chopped garlic
1 can rinsed and strained cannelloni beans
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Pink Himalayan Salt/ Pepper
First clean and cut the ends off of the swiss chard while a pot of water boils. Once the water starts to boil place the swiss chard in the pot for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, in a separate pot, add olive oil and garlic, strain and rinse the beans and place in the pot. Add salt/pepper and mix up, place on low heat. The beans will cook for about 15 minutes. Strain the swiss chard and in the same pot add a little olive oil. Then place the swiss chard back in the pot on medium heat, add a pinch of salt and the beans. Cook for about 5 minutes and then enjoy!
